From dust to dust
To understand energy and frequency balancing, first we need to appreciate that we are part of the universe around us. Every thing goes back to the atom. From dust we came and to dust we will return, at an atomic level. So, like every thing else around us, we are made of atoms vibrating at very specific frequencies.

It is the specific frequency of vibration and the moisture content that makes our flesh and bone different to wood and stone.

To maintain a healthy balance in all of our body's systems, our frequencies have to be in tune, and our vital energy systems must be uncluttered and un-compromised, i.e. balanced.
The Meridian systems
The meridian systems are the channels within our bodies along which the primary or universal energies flow. This universal energy is often called Chi or Prana or Ki or the Unified Field or the Quantum Hologram etc.etc. Blockages of, or restrictions to, these meridians [energy lines] will cause imbalances of various glands, organs and body functions.
Emotional energy
Emotional energies can be life enhancing or life depreciating in nature.

The emotions play a very important part in our overall balance and wellbeing. This subject is very complex. Below is a brief summary of some emotional effects - how we can endeavour to counteract them, and, help the body to repair some of the havoc they cause.
Emotional effects on Meridians
Our emotions are so powerful that they directly and instantly affect our Aura. Those who have the gift or ability to see and read Auras, see our emotional state reflected in our Auras.

Earlier we mentioned the all- important Meridian systems. The Meridian Systems are directly affected by our emotions. Emotional traumas put short circuits in our meridian systems, just like sticking a screwdriver in the back of a T.V. set. It is going to cause shorts or ZZZZITS. The T.V set can't function properly if some of its systems are shorted out. Can you?
Emotional traumas can quickly cause the spine to develop scoliosis through a simple chain reaction or ripple effect. When there is a sudden emotional trauma, the adrenal glands pump out adrenalin for the fight or flight response. It is believed that one adrenal gland will often pump harder than the other causing the kidney over which it is situated to spasm. When the kidney spasms it triggers the gluteus muscles on that side of the body to spasm; this in turn is a trigger to the abdominal sheath on the same side, causing these muscles to spasm. The abdominal muscles are outrigger stabilizers of the spine. If the abdominal muscles on one side of the body loose length due to a spasm then the spine is pulled sideways producing a Scoliosis.

The body has an inbuilt mechanism that wants to maintain a central load- bearing axis. Generally it will not allow us to walk around with our head and spine leaning to one side like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. When a Scoliosis forms around the load- bearing axis causing the head to not sit squarely on the Axis and Atlas bones, these joints also become misaligned. This state leads to a stiff neck and /or headaches or worse. This explanation shows that a simple stiff neck or headache, may well indicate a much more serious condition. Yes - Scoliosis. Massaging the neck muscles is simply treating a symptom and not addressing the real cause.
